2014 Notre Dame Recruit And High School Senior Quenton Nelson Out-Benches Top NFL Rookies (Video)

Notre Dame incoming freshman Quenton Nelson is known around Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic High for his immense physical strength, but after the release of a video of Nelson bench pressing more weight than some notable NFL Scouting Combine participants — including No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney.

High school senior Quenton Nelson is a 4-star offensive tackle and has signed to play his college football for the University of Notre Dame. Standing at 6’5″, 295 pounds, Nelson is a mammoth of a human being. His strength is off the charts, and Bleacher Report was able to catch him in action. The future Fighting Irish star was able to bench-press 225 pounds a remarkable 26 times, more than multiple 2014 NFL draft picks. Watch the video and try not to forget this kid hasn’t even graduated high school yet.
