Bodybuilder With Down Syndrome Competes In Kentucky Statewide Championship (Video)

A bodybuilder with Down Syndrome showed off months of hard work and dedication on stage a week ago. Collin Clarke, 22, competed at the Kentucky Muscle Bodybuilding Championship in Louisville and serves as an inspiration to many.

A year ago, Clarke was out of shape and working the desk at Bob’s Gym in Evansville. That’s when he became friends with a personal trainer. The two began training and started a strict diet. Now after all their hard work, the two are a little emotional.

“I might break down like a little … but I can’t really express it,” Clarke said. “Hopefully I can try to keep it in, but it’s going to be hard to do.” Clark lost a total of 60 pounds for the competition.
