If you have already tried different types of weight loss techniques yet you didn’t notice any changes or improvements in your efforts, maybe it’s time for you to find out what is wrong. Remember that you are not the only person who may be suffering from this situation. According to Dr. Melanie Novak MD, there are a lot of people who have also made a strict diet plan and work out regularly but still were not able to get rid of the extra pounds they wanted to remove. The main reason why your efforts are not very successful lies behind the way you follow your diet plans. There are many things that sometimes drag you to become overweight and it is important to be able to resist yourself and stick on your goals.

Here are the some of the common mistakes that are often overlooked resulting to a failed weight loss approach.

1. Setting unrealistic goals – This is a common mistake that people who are trying to lose weight often overlooked. A weight loss goal is something that is easily achievable. You must not set unrealistic goals or something that is impossible to reach. You can start it out with small targets and once they are achieved you can move on to another stage and increase your goal. If you have heard from a friend that he loses weight in just a short period of time, you may not follow his program because the results can vary from person to person. You don’t have to match his performance set your own small goal and achieve them before you go any further.

2. Abusing the gym – This is a common mistake of people who are overly enthusiastic about losing quickly and try to go to the gym every day. It is not bad to do exercises but abusing it may affect your health. You must understand that the body is made up of tissues which may worn-out if you are overworking your system. If this happens the tissues must be repaired by giving the body a good rest. Without rest your body will be stressed and you can no longer exercise well. Remember that you can’t burn out the fats that you have accumulated for many years in just a few months. Therefore it is not necessary to work out too much and abuse your body.

3. Self starvation – This is often observed on people who go on a crash diet. They usually starve themselves thinking that they can easily lose weight with the process. If you are on a diet it is important to be reminded that your body requires specific nutrients to be able to function. This means that starving your self will cause a lot of issues on the body organs, thus, affecting your entire health. It is better to eat several light meals a day than starving your body in order to lose weight quickly.

One of the most important tools in losing weight is motivation. In order to maintain your enthusiasm and reach your weight loss goal you should try different variations of exercises and diet plan.

“If the bar aint bending, your just pretending!” Very impressive raw bench press by Mr. Eric Spoto! The “raw” in the record comes from the fact that Eric doesn’t wear a bench shirt or any other kind of helpful clothing; he’s there in a tank, leather belt and gloves.

Bench shirts are insanely taut, made of denim or polyester, and both cushion the lifter as the weight depresses and help the lifter get the weight back in the air. As a result, the current shirted world record stands at 1076.9 pounds, more than half again as much as the raw record.

There’s a bit of controversy around Spoto’s lift, because no one can have any kind of success on the Internet without somebody else coming along to dump on it. For a raw bench press to count, the bar has to be motionless at the bottom of the lift, and Spoto gets it off his chest in a hurry. You would too, if you could. Could be trolling, could be legitimate questions. We’re going with trolling, mainly because we don’t want Spoto mad at us.

Almost as soon as it was discovered by westerners, tobacco smoking had its opponents. One of the most famous was King James I, who penned a famous ‘Counterblaste to Tobacco’ in 1604 condemning the habit in extremely strong terms.

In the 20th century, the link between smoking and illness was finally established by Dr Richard Doll’s work and governments have, since the 1960s, legislated to restrict tobacco’s sale and promotion.

Here’s a guide to some of the world’s smoking laws, which you’ll need to know if you’re a smoker and a traveller.

Australia

The legislators Down Under have been very tough on smokers. It’s banned in all workplaces, all airports and all government property. Most states have their own laws too, banning lighting up in restaurants and shopping malls. If you’re heading for the surfing paradises of Sydney, you’ll find yourself on the wrong side of the law if you take out a cigarette on most of the city’s beaches. Freemantle has gone even further, banning smoking anywhere where food is eaten.

Canada

Smoking has been hit hard by Canada’s anti-tobacco campaigns, which included the first health warnings to feature graphic pictures of just what smoking does to our organs.

China

The Chinese are the world’s biggest smokers, but the country is now catching up with some of the western world in passing laws to restrict its 350 million smokers. The Beijing Olympics saw the country’s first indoor smoking ban. From 2011, the country announced a more comprehensive ban on smoking in public places.

France

France has similar smoking bans to the UK, with very heavy fines for transgressors – €450 for the smoker and €750 for the owners of premises who allow smoking to continue.

Germany

As a federal state, laws change across Germany. Eight of its states, including Berlin, banned smoking in bars and restaurants in 2008. However, in response to opposition partly inspired by the Nazi’s earlier anti-smoking laws, bars can set up smoking rooms – Bavaria doesn’t allow this exception.

Greece

The history of smoking bans in public places has been troubled. When the first bans were introduced in 2002-3, the country just carried on lighting up. A new attempt was made in 2009, banning smoking in hospitals and schools as well as public vehicles and buildings. Restaurants can choose to be exclusively smoking if they want and larger establishments can have smoking rooms.

Ireland

Over the Irish Sea you’ll come up against some of the toughest anti-smoking laws in Europe. Essentially, you can’t smoke in any public workplace and if you do you can be fined up to €3,000.

The USA

It’s a state-by-state picture in America. California is very tough, and has had smoking bans in place since 1993, that’s now been extended to cover all workplaces and beaches.

New York has had a bar, restaurant and club ban since 2003.

Bhutan

Bhutan, the famously isolated Himalayan kingdom, is the only country in the world to have banned the sale of all tobacco products. Not many inhabitants of the country smoke, and you can see why – in March 2011, a monk was jailed for three years after being caught with tobacco.

E-liquid E-cigarettes are proving a popular alternative to smoking for many tobacco users. They give the user a nicotine hit without having to set fire to anything or chuck a smelly cigarette end away. The laws on e-cigarettes are changing around the world, but in most countries you can circumvent smoking bans by using these electronic gizmos to get your nicotine.

Derek Devlin has taken an interest in laws and rules around the area of smoking for a number of years and finds the change interesting especially after reading http://enjuice.com/blog/posts/2012/march/what-makes-enjuice-e-liquid-special/

Here’s another reason to catch a couple more z’s: According to new research published in the journal Sleep, the fewer hours you log between the sheets (sleeping, that is), the more difficult it is to gauge portion control in your diet. The study found that sleeping less than the recommended seven to eight hours per night makes it harder for women, specifically, to put the brakes on a meal once they start eating. This is because the lack of sleep affects levels of GLP-1, a hormone responsible for letting the brain know when the stomach is full. This is slightly different from the effect experienced by men, who report being hungrier than usual the day after due to higher levels of ghrelin. Regardless of the mechanics, both are diet-busting scenarios. You’ll need to pay extra attention to your portion sizes the day after disrupted sleep to stay in your best shape.

Could lack of sleep be causing you to gain weight?

Think about it: If you’re feeling sleepy at work, you may be tempted to reach for a cup of coffee (or several cups) and a doughnut for a quick shot of energy. Later you may skip the gym and pick up takeout on your way home to your family — no time to cook. When you finally find yourself back in your bed, you are too wound up to sleep.

It’s a vicious cycle, and eventually this sleep deprivation can sabotage your waistline and your health.

It starts out innocently enough. “When you have sleep deprivation and are running on low energy, you automatically go for a bag of potato chips or other comfort foods,” saysSusan Zafarlotfi, PhD, clinical director of the Institute for Sleep and Wake Disorders at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.

The immediate result? You may be able to fight off sleepiness. The ultimate result? Unwanted pounds as poor food choices coupled with lack of exercise set the stage for obesity and further sleep loss.

“Sleep debt is like credit card debt,” Zafarlotfi says. “If you keep accumulating credit card debt, you will pay high interest rates or your account will be shut down until you pay it all off. If you accumulate too much sleep debt, your body will crash.”

Not getting enough sleep is common — even talked about with pride — in the U.S. “We brag about an all-nighter, but we do pay a price for staying up late and getting up early,” says Mark Mahowald, MD, director of the Minnesota Regional Sleep Disorders Center in Hennepin County.

Understanding the Sleep-Diet Connection

The sleep-diet connection is regular fodder for diet books and magazine articles. Maybe you have even heard about the sleep diet, which suggests you can lose weight while you catch your ZZZs.

And it’s true, sort of.

“It’s not so much that if you sleep, you will lose weight, but if you are sleep-deprived, meaning that you are not getting enough minutes of sleep or good quality sleep, your metabolism will not function properly,” explains Michael Breus, PhD, author of Beauty Sleepand the clinical director of the sleep division for Arrowhead Health in Glendale, Ariz.

On average, we need about 7.5 hours of quality sleep per night, he says. “If you are getting this already, another half hour will not help you lose 10 pounds, but if you are a five-hour sleeper and start to sleep for seven hours a night, you will start dropping weight.”

Exactly how lack of sleep affects our ability to lose weight has a lot to do with our nightly hormones, explains Breus.

The two hormones that are key in this process are ghrelin and leptin.“Ghrelin is the ‘go’ hormone that tells you when to eat, and when you are sleep-deprived, you have more ghrelin,” Breus says. “Leptin is the hormone that tells you to stop eating, and when you are sleep deprived, you have less leptin.”

More ghrelin plus less leptin equals weight gain.

“You are eating more, plus your metabolism is slower when you are sleep-deprived,” Breus says.

The Sleep-Weight Loss Solution

So what can you do about sleep deprivation?

A lot, says Breus. First, look at how much you sleep vs. how well you sleep.“Some people such as new moms may only get to sleep for a four-hour stretch. And there are some people who get 7.5 hours of sleep that is poor quality because of pain or an underlying sleep disorder, and this has the same effect as if they got less sleep,” he says.

Trouble-shoot both with improved sleep hygiene, he says.

For starters, avoid any caffeine in the afternoon because it will keep you in the lighter stages of sleep — which are associated with poor sleep — at night. Breus recommends only decaf from 2 p.m. on. Exercise also helps improve sleep quality. How soon before bed should you exercise? It depends –everyone is different. It’s more important that you exercise than it iswhen you exercise. Breus says to be safe, don’t exercise right before going to bed. “But some people exercise better before bed and it doesn’t affect their sleep,” he says.

Watch what you eat before bedtime. “Pizza and beer before bedtime is not a good idea,” says Breus. “Neither is eating a big meal close to bedtime.” He suggests eating a few healthy snacks and then having a light meal — like a bowl of cereal — if you’re running close to bedtime. Heavy, rich meals before bed can also increase risk of heartburn, which will certainly keep you up all night.

What if you are getting enough hours of sleep but wake up and feel sleepy the next day? “Talk to your doctor about seeing a sleep specialist,” Breus says. After conducting a thorough evaluation and sleep study, in which you are monitored while sleeping, the sleep specialist can help identify any underlying problem. Together you can develop a treatment plan so that you get more high-quality sleep — and maybe even slim down.

My Personal Thoughts:

Mixture: when I first opened Red Weiler I thought it may be a bit of a gritty drink due to it looking very crystal like. This is actually due to Olimp nutritions granulated and rapidly dissolvable formula. Gladly this was not the case as it mixed very easy and leaves no foam or after powder residue.

Taste: the taste is great. Very sweet tasting but not eye watering like some supplements out there. I decided to go with fruit punch as I find you can’t go wrong with this flavour. And Red Weiler helps me prove this.

Strength: wow! I have tried many top pre work outs and Red Weiler is up there with the kings of pre work outs. I was shocked how good it was. I am now on my second tub, and already iv smashed my bicep curl personal best, and squats and dead lifts. So for me this has proven worthy to be known as a top pre work out supplement.

Benefits: I noticed amazing benefits during my first tub. I gained massive strength and energy levels. And monster pumps in and out of the gym. Also the vascularity is amazing I know this cause my girlfriend would worry something is wrong but in that I was just pumping off Red Weiler The mental focus and endurance is amazing As well. I truly would recommend this to any serious athlete wanting a a pre workout supplement that will blow you and your personal bests away, and help you gain the body you deserve.

Healthy living style is an investment plan of healthy life. If you don’t choose it you can’t manage to live long and heal n hearty. Different types of diseases usually affect human body due to unhealthy way of treating our body, mind, and mood. Breast cancer is also found treatable disease but at its early stage only. Proper care of your body makes you all at your best physical and mental health.

Breast cancer is a harmonic reaction in the body due to increase in estrogen level more than its scale. This hormone is produced by ovaries. After the age of 40s to 50s women start menopause phase. If you didn’t followed proper and healthy living style you might be at the risk of breast cancer.

Following are some healthy living habits to stay your breasts healthy.

Healthy Weight is Important:

Harold Freeman, M.D., president and founder of the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer and Prevention in New York City stated in his report on breast cancer that, heavy weight people are in more risk of breast cancer than normal weight people. Weight is also very important in its treatment. Our BMI 19-25 make an indicator for that. Heavy weight women are usually start facing imbalance hormone levels quite earlier.

Exercise is the Key:

Exercise is the great way to improve your health by increase blood circulation in the body, increase lungs functioning of inhaling oxygen and exhaling toxin from the body and make you sweat which leads to regularizing body temperature. From 45 minutes to an hour five days a week regular fitness workouts boost our immune function, improve our calories consumption, and lowering levels of estrogen and insulin.

No No to Alcohol:

Alcohol has a property of thinning the blood vassals in our body. It makes blood circulation difficult and also reduces water retention in our body. Water is a main ingredient for healthy body and without it organs not work efficiently. Research on breast cancer has shown due to thin vassals detoxification of breast tissues get reduced and therefore it`s increase breast cancer risk by 21 percent. Fresh grapes skin has Resveratrol, which may help reduce your estrogen levels, which in turn may reduce your risk.

Eat Veggies:

Fat is essential for health but its higher consumption increase obesity, cholesterol levels and creates difficulty in blood circulation. Vegetables are good source of vitamins and also low fat diet which reduce your risk, but for even more protection. Dietitian`s advice Broccoli and kale for low fat diet, as they contain sulforaphane, which is believed to help prevent cancer cells from multiplying. You can eat them raw for better results.

Family History of Breast Cancer:

Breast cancer is a genetically transferable disease. Freeman`s research stated that 15 percent of breast cancer cases are due to family history of the disease. If in your first cosines this disease has affected then the risk of having it get double to five times more. Strictly follow healthy living practices for safety.

Examine the breast regularly:

Monthly breast examination by yourself is an important way to find early symptoms and stage of breast cancer. Feeling pain, glands formation on or near to breasts, stress in muscles of breast and change in nipples tip are very early signs of this disease. All women should have a clinical breast exam at least every three years after the age of 30 and annual exams and mammograms at age 40. Digital mammography allows for adjustments in contrast so the image can be easier to see. MRI or a sonogram in addition to the mammogram is the treatments if the cancer has diagnosed.

Consider Genetic Testing

This disease is usually affected near or after menopause phase. Therefore it might be a genetically problem if it has strike young women and more likely to be connected to a BRCA mutation. Two red flags for being a BRCA carrier: being of Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Jewish descent or having a family history of both breast and ovarian cancer. Consult to a genetic expert immediately if you are facing breast cancer symptoms in early age of fertility.
