Whats up Gym Flow 100 readers! My name is Rob and like most Americans these days, I am overweight. And guess what? Being overweight sucks and I am determined to do something about it. My good friend Paterson maintains this fantastic website you’ve all learned (or will hopefully learn) to love. Pat and I we’re chatting the other night and decided what better way to promote my fitness journey than to post a new special feature on Gym Flow! It’ll bring a whole new fresh set of weight loss content to the site and you guys (the readers) will keep me motivated and on track to help me achieve my goals!
So who am I? IT Consultant (Tech Support Guy) by day. House DJ at night (check www.saucyent.com). I like to think I’m a pretty cool guy to be around. I have a great network of friends, a family that I love, and overall my life is pretty solid. Except for this one little (BIG) thing. I’m not going to bore you with the details of how I got to where I am today (318 lbs. about 100 too much). I’m gonna keep you interested in how I’m going to get to where I want to be. Continuing to live my life with a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition and fitness plan. (Did it give me anxiety to type that? Yes!) Oh my god! A diet! Hell no, I don’t do diets. I’m 6’5″. At my largest, I hit 365 lbs on the scale, the same stats as Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork. I like burgers, steak, fish, sushi, waffles, bacon, bacon, bacon…. you get the idea. We’re not doing a diet here.
What am I doing? Sticking to science, tracking my calories, and making sure I hit the gym 3 days a week (to start). I’m going to be under 300 for New Years, that I can promise.
