Protein Blueberry Waffles

Take your dose of protein in a tastier way!!

Ingredients:

 

  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/3 cup of oatbran or ground oatmeal
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries, divided.

 Directions: 

  1.     Combine all ingredients, but the Blueberries, into a bowl.
  2.     Blend together until smooth.  Once blended, let the mixture sit or set for  a few minutes.
  3.     Preheat the waffle iron.  Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray.
  4.     Mix the waffle batter one more time while blending in half of the
  5.      Blueberries into batter.
