Any guy looking to build muscle mass has probably tried various types of supplements to get the body he’s looking for.
The truth is, the vast majority of supplements on that market are NOT very effective.
Having said that, there are plenty of guys that turn to the dark side and start looking at ways to buy steroids.
Clearly, there are many problems with this.
For one, the price is usually not in most people’s budget. As an example, the typical cost for a vial of Trenbalone is about $60 – $100 per 10 ml, making it very expensive.
Additionally, the side effects associated with steroid use are vast, and include: increased aggression, acne, blurred vision, high blood pressure, increased weight gain, and increased body hair.
Lastly (and certainly not least), some of the long term detrimental effects of steroid use include kidney problems and failure, liver damage, and increased risk of stroke and heart attack.
What if there were some all natural, safer, and cheaper steroid alternatives that were available?
Would you take them?
Well, I’m here to tell you that there ARE alternatives out there that really do work.
How do I know this? Because I’ve personally tested a lot of them. Let’s take a look at some of the most effective ones I’ve taken.
Alternative #1 – DHEA
DHEA is an endogenous steroid hormone that is one of the most abundant circulating steroids in humans.
It’s been available in the US as an over the counter supplement since 1997, and it’s so powerful that it’s actually been banned for consumption in Canada, UK, and Australia.
It may sound scary, but DHEA is found in literally 100’s of over the counter supplements on the market.
I’ve personally taken DHEA completely by itself, as well as stacked with other supplements, and the results have truly been amazing.
Typically it’s a good idea to get a blood test to determine your current DHEA levels before consuming it.
You can find DHEA fairly cheap on Bodybuilding.com, Amazon, and even Ebay.
Alternative #2 – HGH Supplements
HGH stands for Human Growth Hormone, and was discovered by a Chinese-born biochemist named Choh Hao Lin in 1966.
Real HGH is illegal to obtain without a prescription from a licensed physician. Even then, you typically have to be diagnosed with a condition that requires its use.
However, since around 1998 there have been numerous over the counter supplements that act as HGH “releasers”.
Basically what this entails is they stimulate the production of HGH in the pituitary gland, allowing your body to release more of it.
This increased release of HGH, which typically happens at night, can cause massive strength and lean muscle mass gains.
Alternative #3 – D-Aspartic Acid
Commonly referred to as DAA, D-Aspartic Acid has been used by athletes to help temporarily boost performance.
Despite some studies suggesting otherwise, D-AA is actually very well known to help boost testosterone in infertile men.
This effect is typically short-lived, usually lasting about a week and a half to 2 weeks.
With that said, some have found that regularly cycling on and off D-Aspartic Acid have given them an overall testosterone increase over time.
The jury is still out on D-AA because of the lack of clinical studies, but from my personal experience it’s worth giving it a shot.
Unless you have some sort of rare condition that requires it, I would suggest refraining from the use of steroids.
Any short-term gains you find with them will be offset by the long term detrimental effects that ultimately result.
Add in the cost and legality of even purchasing steroids, and it’s a lose-lose proposition.
If you’re looking for some effective (and legal), steroid alternatives, definitely give the above a try.
