An 18-year-old man who allegedly pretended to be a doctor was arrested Tuesday for practicing medicine without a license, officials said.
Florida health officials and Palm Beach police received a Crimestoppers tip earlier in February about Love-Robinson and his medical office, “New Birth New Life Medical Center & Urgent Care”, explained Florida Department of Health spokesman Brad Dalton to the New York Daily News. Love-Robinson is listed as the CEO, President and founder on NBNL Medical Center’s website.

According to the website, NBNL Medical Center’s mission is “to provide personalized, high-quality Holistic and Alternative Medical care on an as-needed or preventative basis,” and that their naturopathic physicians are certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and the American Alternative Medical Association (AAMA).
An image of a certificate posted on a Facebook account attributed to Malachi A. Love-Robinson says the teen became a certified alternative medical practitioner and a holistic health practitioner last October.
An undercover agent of the Palm Beach Narcotics Task Force posed as a patient seeking medical advice, reported the Palm Beach Post. Love-Robinson allegedly performed a physical examination on the agent and offered medical advice, but did not prescribe any medications, said Dalton to the Palm Beach Post. The teen was arrested immediately afterwards, Dalton said.
His online biography said he utilizes physiological, psychological, and mechanical methods, such as air, water, light, heat, and earth. It also states that he provides natural medicines, natural processed foods, herbs and nature’s remedies.
Love-Robinson was charged with practicing medicine without a license and was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on $6,000 bail, reported the Sun Sentinel.
The same teen was caught in January 2015 for reportedly posing as a gynecologist.
