Welcome to the most comprehensive Grenade Thermo Detonator review on the world wide web!
Grenade Thermo Detonator is a fat-burning supplement in capsule form that contains ingredients such as caffeine, cayenne, and green tea. It is designed to increase energy levels and support a lean physique
In this review, we will give you a detailed breakdown of what’s in it, how much is in it and whether the science says that’s enough to have the effects the manufacturer is claiming. Simple!
Whether you’re just starting out on a weight-loss journey or you’re prepping for your first ever bodybuilding competition, fat burners can definitely play a role in helping you to achieve your goals.
With loads of options for the consumer and lots of competition among supplement companies, you’d expect high-quality products at reasonable prices, right? Not necessarily. If you’re not careful, you can easily end up with a fat burner which actually does very little to help you achieve your weight management goals.
That’s why we’ve put the hours of research in, so you don’t have to. All the information you need in one convenient place so that you can decide for yourself whether yet another fat burner supplement is all that it’s cracked up to be!
Grenade Thermo Detonator Ingredients
One of the most important factors to consider when making an initial assessment of the ingredients in any nutritional supplement is whether the product includes any proprietary blends!
For those of you new to this world and unsure exactly what a proprietary blend is then read the next bit of this Grenade Thermo Detonator review carefully. If you’re a seasoned pro, then bare with us!
A proprietary blend is a mixture of ingredients where the total weight is disclosed but not the individual quantities of each component ingredient. That means you have no idea how much of anything you are consuming and we have no precise dosages to compare to the latest research.
Irrespective of what supplement manufacturers try to tell you about why they make use of proprietary blends, normally some bullshit about hiding secret formulas from the prying eyes of competitors, there is actually only one reason they do, and that’s to hide underdosed key ingredients from you!
The good news for this product is that there isn’t a single proprietary blend in sight… Yaaay!
FYI, the dosages quoted below are based on a 4 capsule daily serving.
Green tea- 1000 mg
It is the high levels of something called EGCG within green tea extract, which is responsible for its potential fat-fighting benefits!
Research has demonstrated that ECGC intake can increase energy expenditure and stimulate fat oxidation, both of which will ultimately help you to lose weight.[1]
By prolonging the action of the hormone responsible for inhibiting the degradation of noradrenaline, catechins may allow for an increase in overall energy output and fat burning!
There is, as yet, no real agreement on an optimal dose of green tea extract for fat burning purposes but the 1000 mg dose in each 4 capsule daily serving of Thermo Detonator is well in excess of the industry standard 500 mg and will be plenty enough to elicit the thermogenic fat burning response we’re after!
Bitter orange powder- 840 mg
There is some evidence to suggest that bitter orange can help with modest weight loss. The key ingredient believed to be responsible for such effects is called synephrine. Research has demonstrated that it may only be effective when combined with exercise, helping to increase the maximal fat oxidation rate.[2] In fact, one study, in particular, found that the ingestion of 3 mg/kg of synephrine did not change energy consumption or fat oxidation rate at rest.[3]
As far as an optimum dosage is concerned, 10-20 mg three times a day or acute servings of 50 mg are commonly recommended.[4]
It’s difficult for us to ascertain from this Grenade Thermo Detonator fat burner how much synephrine is actually contained within the 840 mg daily serving of bitter orange powder. Given the potentially lethal side effects associated with synephrine consumption, it sure would be nice to have some more information on this!
Caffeine- 400 mg
By far the most common and effective thermogenic ingredient has to be caffeine.
Caffeine’s fat-burning impact lies in its stimulatory properties, increasing adrenaline levels and in turn helping to liberate fatty acids from adipose (fat) and intramuscular stores making them available for use as fuel.[5]
Caffeine also prevents the enzyme responsible for degrading cAMP (a derivative of ATP), which means enhanced lipolysis (breakdown of fat) and more fatty acids for use as fuel.[6]
Studies have found that even a low dose (100mg) has the potential to induce a thermogenic effect at rest, increasing the resting metabolic rate by 3-4% over a 150 minute period.[7]
Consequently, the 400 mg dose in every 4 capsules daily serving of Grenade Thermo Detonator will absolutely be enough to elicit a thermogenic response. It also bangs on the maximum dosage which is considered safe for daily consumption by most medical professionals, and will almost certainly induce some negative side effects (more on that a little later).
Cayenne- 400 mg
The key ingredient within cayenne pepper extract as far as fat burning is concerned is capsaicin.
Capsaicin has been shown to increase thermogenesis by enhancing catecholamine (i.e. adrenaline) secretion and is also capable of suppressing appetite.[8]
Scientific research has demonstrated that capsaicin supplements can boost metabolism by up to 50 calories a day, which could lead to significant weight loss over time.[9] In some cases, taking 2.5 mg with each meal resulted in 10% more fat being burned in the subsequent 24 hours than a control group.[10]
The 400 mg cayenne pepper per day you will be consuming if you follow the advised protocol on the official Grenade website is pretty potent and as a result will absolutely have the desired effect on your fat-burning potential!
Phenylalanine- 50 mg
Phenylalanine is an amino acid found in many foods and used by your body to produce proteins and other important molecules.[11] Your body is unable to produce enough phenylalanine on its own, so it’s considered an essential amino acid that must be obtained through your diet.[12]
There have been some suggestions that taking phenylalanine in supplement form may act as a potent appetite suppressant but as of yet, there is no research to support notions it can help users lose weight!
Green coffee- 20 mg
Green coffee bean extract comes from coffee beans that haven’t been roasted. Coffee beans contain compounds known as chlorogenic acids. Some believe these compounds have antioxidant effects, which help lower blood pressure and help you lose weight.[13]
There is, however, limited scientific research to support any theories about green coffee extract and weight loss and more research needs to be conducted before we can be sure that it is both safe for human consumption in the long term and effective at boosting weight loss.
Grenade Thermo Detonator benefits
There are enough scientifically proven ingredients included in this product for our Grenade Thermo Detonator capsules review to determine that it should be of at least some benefit to your weight loss goals.
Green tea, caffeine, and cayenne have all been shown to help induce thermogenesis and boost your metabolic rate thereby aiding in fat burning and weight loss, and all three of these ingredients definitely feature at meaningful, and in most cases, potent levels!
As with pretty much every nutritional supplement on the market, however, there are some ingredients included that have very little, if any, research to suggest their efficacy for weight loss. The inclusion of what could be an extremely significant serving of synephrine is also a potential concern (more on that next).
Grenade Thermo Detonator Side Effects
There are probably three ingredients that you need to be aware of when it comes to Grenade Thermo Detonator side effects and they are caffeine, synephrine, and cayenne.
Whilst the 200 mg dose of caffeine per 2 capsule serving isn’t especially severe and shouldn’t cause most users too many problems, the 400 mg consumed per day if you follow the advised protocol on the official Grenade website is extremely potent. This kind of dose will lead to some unwanted side effects, even for the most hardened stimulant users among you, including symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, the jitters and even anxiety.
Synephrine can be particularly dangerous and has been linked with health issues such as strokes and high blood pressure due to its effect on your heart rate. The lack of clarity around the synephrine content of the bitter orange powder included in this product makes potential side effects even more of an issue.
Finally, whilst cayenne in moderate doses shouldn’t cause users too many issues, the 400 mg per 4 capsules daily serving in Grenade Thermo Detonator may result in some side effects including gastrointestinal irritation.

● Amazon customer reviews- 3.8 out of 5 stars:
- 5 out of 5 stars, 3 November 2017- AMAZING:
- “I’ve been using these for 3 months now, I’ve lost 2 Stone and 5lbs. These aren’t like the other fad diet tablets they actually work!! 100% recommend.”
- 5 out of 5 stars, 16 November 2018- Amazing:
- “It’s really good! I don’t feel sick and it helps a lot in my dieting. It is recommended to take one tablet twice a day for first week and then two tablets twice a day but it’s a bit too strong for me to take two tablets together so what I did was taking 4 tablets throughout the day in a few hours space between. Helps a lot as a pre workout, but I’ve noticed that best energy level is reached after around 1.5 – 2h after taking a tablet so keep that in mind if you’re using it before training. I felt energised and full of power all day without any peeks or calm downs which is great. It does not give you any sudden kick but a regular energy through the day. Digesting is nice and easy. I could feel my stomach warming up a bit at first and I am more thirsty right after so it keeps me drinking water but that is a good thing. All together – great product and I will buy again and again!”
- 1 out of 5 stars, 20 April 2019- Lethal!!!
- “Do not go near these people! Don’t even with a six foot pole!!! I thought i was having a heart attack with only taking 3 through the day, like the first time i attempted 3 because i felt really strange on 1, but still thought i’d give the a go…just don’t please! When i was in the middle of my suspected heart attack i couldn’t get to my phone so i let my house to knock on a neighbours door to ask them to call me an ambulance whilst i was soaking wet because of the fear i got thinking i was having a heart attack i jumped into the shower running cold water whilst in my shorts and t-shirt to calm my racing heart down..glad now but not at the time that neighbour wasn’t in. I noticed these hideous things don’t have a country of origin…really how suspicious is that??? The law should be after these people who sell these things and i’m wondering if i can do something about this via Amazon. This situation happened only yesterday and i thought i was a goner for sure! People please don’t go near things like this.”

“Take 1 serving (2 capsules) on an empty stomach upon waking with water. Take 1 serving (2 capsules) 30 minutes prior to lunch with water. To assess tolerance, consume 1 capsule twice per day for the first 7 days. For an explosive workout, take 2 capsules prior to training. Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. DO NOT exceed 4 capsules per day.”
Summary
No proprietary blends and three scientifically proven ingredients dosed at more than effective levels, in caffeine, cayenne, and green tea, would ordinarily signal a hugely positive summary to our Grenade Thermo Detonator review!
Unfortunately, however, the inclusion of a significant serving of bitter orange powder, which contains an undisclosed quantity of a potentially lethal ingredient called synephrine, muddies the waters somewhat.
Add to that the fact the daily servings of both caffeine and cayenne are also likely to cause some considerable side effects, and the fact that Grenade Thermo Detonator is by no means the cheapest fat burning supplement on the market, and things don’t look quite so rosy!
Our final verdict…? If you’re not worried about potentially harmful side effects and you’ve got a decent budget to spend on a fat burner then by all means give Grenade Thermo Detonator a try. In all likelihood, it is going to help you to lose weight. If you’re like us, however, and you value your health, and would rather not assign such a large chunk of cash to nutritional supplements, then we’d suggest you keep looking!
