Welcome to the most comprehensive BPI Sports Nite Burn review on the internet!
BPI Sports Nite Burn is a non-stimulant fat-burning supplement in capsule form designed to help you lose weight while sleeping. Nite Burn contains ingredients that raise the internal temperature of the body, providing a thermogenic effect.
In this BPI Sports Nite Burn Review, you will learn everything you need to know about this supplement from where to buy it and how much it costs, to exactly what’s in it and how that measures up to the latest scientific research!
Here’s the deal:
The world of nutritional supplements can be a confusing one, especially when it comes to those products designed to help you shed excess pounds. There are so many brands out there that claim to suppress your appetite and increase your metabolism, among other things, to help you trim down.
There is no doubt that fat burners can have a place in your training regime, and there are plenty of good options out there which will definitely help you to make gains! However, with loose regulations at best, it is easy for manufacturers to exploit their consumers, which means you have to be ultra careful when choosing the right fat burner product for your needs.
Now:
That’s where we come in! No marketing bullshit and no sales pitch, just the cold hard facts about the product and its key ingredients. That’s why our Nite Burn BPI review is your perfect source of knowing whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or you’ve been a committed gym-goer for a number of years!

Nite Burn ingredients
As with any nutritional supplements, particularly those which contain a mixture of ingredients, like many fat burners, there is one question we must ask ourselves above any other! Does the product contain any proprietary blends…?
For the uninitiated among you, a proprietary blend is a mix of ingredients where the total weight of the blend is disclosed but not the weight of each component part of that blend. That means you have no way of being certain as to how much of any ingredient you are actually consuming per serving! Not particularly helpful when all of these ingredients have optimum dosages that are important to adhere to!
Despite what supplement manufacturers might try to tell you about why they use proprietary blends, there is actually only one reason. To hide underdosed key ingredients from YOU, the consumer.
As a result, whenever you see a product that includes any number of proprietary blends then the alarm bells should start sounding in your head!
And guess what…?!
BPI Sports Nite Burn is made up of a single proprietary blend weighing 640 mg and containing no fewer than 8 active ingredients. That means you have no idea how much of any of those 8 ingredients you are consuming every time you pop a capsule!!!
Not a good start to the ingredients section of our BPI Sports Nite Burn Review!
Raspberry ketone
Raspberry ketone is a natural substance that gives red raspberries their powerful aroma. This substance is also found in small amounts in other fruits and berries, such as blackberries, cranberries, and kiwis.[1]
The raspberry ketones you find in nutritional supplements, however, are not actually sourced from raspberries but are synthetically produced. This is because you’d need a whole lot of raspberries to produce the tiniest thimble of ketones!
Whilst there are animal studies, which suggest that raspberry ketones may help in preventing weight gain (as opposed to promoting weight loss), there isn’t a single human study that corroborates theories that they aid in weight loss or fat burning more specifically!
As a result, we consider the inclusion of a serving of raspberry ketones in this product, whatever the quantity, largely inconsequential to our BPI Nite Burn review.
White kidney bean extract
White kidney bean extract is thought to be a carbohydrate blocker that inhibits the digestion of starches leaving them undigested in the gut, or reducing the volume which is digested and therefore absorbed.[2]
Scientific studies have in fact demonstrated that supplementing with Phaseolus vulgaris for a period of 30 days leads to significantly greater reduction in body weight, BMI, fat mass, adipose tissue thickness, and waist,/hip/ thigh circumferences while maintaining lean body mass compared to subjects receiving a placebo.[3]
These studies used a daily dose of 445 mg.[4] It’s impossible for us to know whether the serving contained in Nite Burn will be effective or not as a result of the use of a proprietary blend. Given that the total blend weighs just 640 mg and is made up of 8 ingredients, however, we can be fairly confident that this product doesn’t contain white kidney bean extract in anywhere near the quantity that proved successful in the quoted studies!
Green coffee extract
Green coffee bean extract comes from coffee beans that haven’t been roasted. Coffee beans contain compounds known as chlorogenic acids. Some believe these compounds have antioxidant effects, which help lower blood pressure and help you lose weight.[5]
There is, however, limited scientific research to support any theories about green coffee extract and weight loss and more research needs to be conducted before we can be sure that it is both safe for human consumption in the long term and effective at boosting weight loss.
Dandelion extract
Some research purports that the bioactive compounds contained within the dandelion plant may support weight loss. The science to corroborate such theories, is, however, limited at best!
The proposed physiological mechanism for this effect relates to the plants ability to improve carbohydrate metabolism and reduce fat absorption. Unfortunately, this theory hasn’t actually been scientifically proven yet, despite animal studies demonstrating tangible weight loss alongside dandelion supplementation.[6][7]
Basically, we’d like a whole lot more research to be carried out on dandelion supplementation in humans before we are willing to endorse any potential weight loss benefits!
As a result, whatever the dosage contained in this Nite Burn fat burner, its inclusion is a little irrelevant!
L-tryptophan
Whilst there is some evidence to suggest that tryptophan may help to improve sleep as a result of its effects on serotonin levels there is no research to corroborate assertions that it can aid in weight loss. As a result, from a fat-burning perspective, there isn’t an awful lot of point in this product containing a serving of tryptophan, whatever the dose!
Saffron
There are some suggestions that saffron can be an aid to weight loss by helping to curb appetite.
In fact, human studies have demonstrated that saffron supplementation helped significantly to reduce appetite, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and total fat mass.[8] The physiological mechanisms behind such effects are, however, not yet properly understood.
The successful studies above used a daily serving of 30 mg, which BPI Sports Nite Burn could quite easily contain given the 640 mg total blend weight. Unfortunately, without the specific quantity of each ingredient being listed, we have no way of knowing for sure!
Melatonin
Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone secreted by a gland in the brain. Responsible for regulating your circadian rhythm, melatonin levels in your blood help to control the wake and sleep cycles.
Consequently, melatonin supplementation is probably most commonly associated with improving sleep quality as opposed to weight loss and fat burn.
Lemon balm
Lemon balm is purported to have a number of potential health benefits including relieving stress and anxiety, boosting cognitive function and helping to improve sleep.
There is absolutely no evidence, however, to suggest that it can help you to lose weight or burn more fat.
Nite Burn benefits
Nite burn may have some benefits for both improved sleep and weight loss (to a certain extent). It certainly contains ingredients that are purported to help in both areas, but unfortunately, without proper dosing information, it is impossible for us to tell whether these ingredients feature in the requisite quantities to be effective.
Nite Burn side effects
There is probably one ingredient of concern when it comes to side effects and health risks associated with its consumption and that is tryptophan. Potential side effects from supplementation include heartburn, stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.
More research is certainly needed, but there have been suggestions that supplementation with tryptophan may be unsafe!
Is it a scam?
BPI Sports are a well-respected nutritional supplement manufacturer with a wide product range so it is unlikely that NIte Burn is a scam. Having said that, any product which makes use of proprietary blends can be considered a scam of sorts.
It does, however, contain some proven ingredients that are likely to at least help improve your sleep if not boost your weight loss. There aren’t any products out there that are going to meaningfully boost weight loss whilst you are asleep; that’s just wishful thinking. Unfortunately, we just don’t know exactly how much of those proven ingredients feature.

Summary
Despite some reasonable positives as far as this product is concerned, it’s hard for our BPI Sports Nite Burn review to look beyond the use of a proprietary blend. Keeping important dosing information from potential customers is not a very effective way of generating trust between manufacturer and consumer and just stinks of underdosed key ingredients.
Yes, there are some compounds that are proven to help you lose weight and improve the quality of your sleep including white kidney bean extract, saffron, melatonin, and lemon balm, but without accurate serving information, it is difficult for our Nite Burn review to properly assess their effectiveness.
80 cents per serving certainly makes this product reasonably affordable, but if you’re looking for a truly effective fat burning supplement, which is going to give you meaningful benefits in the weight loss department, then this, or any other supplement which promises to help you burn fat whilst you sleep, probably isn’t the right choice for you!
