Fair to say that Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk was one of the best parts of the movie The Avengers. Looks like Marvel Studios agreed as well. The Avengers 2 film promises to include a whole lot of action for the angry green giant The Hulk.
A French website with the spellcheck-destroying name lavoixdunord.fr recently sat down with Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios’ president of production and info tease extraordinaire. When asked whether Hulk would be getting a new solo movie anytime soon, Feige demurred but recognized Hulk’s resonance with moviegoers:
“[W]e wanted people to come out of Avengers saying The Hulk was their favorite character or at least on [sic] of their favorite. The fact that it did happen, was awesome. So, you know, all of the effort related to Hulk right know is going to Age of Ultron. It’s exciting, because [Ruffalo] hasn’t been in any other film, so you can expect to have a lot of Bruce Banner and Hulk in Age of Ultron.”
